Prior to founding EBP, the firm's Managing Partner, Nasir, served as Owner's Representative Project Manager, appointed by ACWA Power, overseeing the project from NTP to COD, with the first gas turbine online within 7 months.

As Owner's Representative Project Manager, an EBP Managing Partner led the delivery of the >US$1 billion total investment Independent Water and Power Project (IWPP): a 1,500 MW combined-cycle (CCGT) power plant integrated with a seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) desalination facility, including 400 kV grid connection integration under a BOO model
He oversaw full design, construction, commissioning and grid integration (400 kV GIS), ensuring compliance with Power and Water Purchase Agreements (PWPA) obligations and off-taker requirements.
Responsibilities included power–water interface management, integrated risk control, schedule assurance and operational readiness, enabling safe and timely Commercial Operation Date (COD) and long-term reliable supply to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
EBP Managing Partner provided project supervision during the execution phase of the project lifecycle, from construction through commissioning to operational handover.
