The referenced CCGT project portfolio, together with complementary thermal generation projects with a combined investment exceeding US$5 billion, was delivered to strengthen national energy security across multiple jurisdictions. Key focus areas included high-availability generation, strict grid and off-taker compliance, lifecycle performance optimization, and execution within complex EPC/OEM contractual frameworks involving both public and private stakeholders.

Under the owner-side leadership of EBP Managing Partners, executive and senior construction, commissioning, and operations management was provided across the full project lifecycle, from engineering integration and procurement strategy through construction and commissioning to operational handover. EBP Managing Partners critical contribution led commissioning activities to validate plant performance, support client team capacity building, and ensure successful operational readiness across projects in Sub-Saharan Africa, MENA, Southeast Asia, China, the United Kingdom, and Brazil.

EBP Managing Partners provided project supervision during the execution phase of the project lifecycle, from construction through commissioning to operational handover.

    • Capacity: 1560MW CCGT – Siemens SGT5-4000F gas & steam turbines

  • Bahrain: Al-Ezzel – Phase I & II; CCGT

    • Capacity: 950MW CCGT – Siemens SGT5-4000F gas & steam turbines
