EBP Managing Partner, appointed by Denham Capital as CEO, led the establishment of the firm's first global mining platform in Brazil and played a pivotal leadership role in transforming Serra Verde (MSV) from a greenfield discovery into a world-class rare earth mining and processing operation.
As Co-Founder (2008), together with partners and Denham Capital, he led early-stage project development and pilot operations (2011–2015), attracting up to US$150 million in initial development funding and laying the foundation for what has evolved into a US$650 million integrated mining operation nowadays.
Located in Goiás, Brazil, MSV represents the largest ionic clay rare earth mining and processing operation outside Asia, producing high-grade critical rare earth concentrates (NdPr, Dy, Tb) essential for electric vehicle motors and wind turbine permanent magnets.
During the advanced development phase (2018–2025), the company raised an additional US$500 million in private capital and refinancing, led by Vision Blue Resources, achieved commercial operations in 2024, and is targeting an IPO in 2027, positioning MSV as a strategic supplier within the global critical minerals value chain.
